As the philanthropic arm of Permobil, the Permobil Foundation is a non-profit organization that believes that regardless of disability, everyone deserves a chance to reach their dreams without limitations. No person should be excluded from opportunity due to a disability.  Independent mobility is a basic human right. This is the heart of why Permobil cares.

Employee engagement (volunteer opportunities for employees)

  • Wounded Warriors Project

Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) began in 2003 as a small, grassroots effort providing simple care and comfort items to the hospital bedsides of the first wounded service members returning home from the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. As their post-service needs evolved, so have our programs and services. Today, through our direct programs in mental health, career counseling, and long-term rehabilitative care, along with our advocacy efforts, we improve the lives of millions of warriors and their families.

  • Paralyzed Veteran of America

PVA was founded by a band of service members who came home from World War II with spinal cord injuries. These wounded heroes made a decision not just to live, but to live with dignity as contributors to society.

Since 1946, Paralyzed Veterans of America has been on a mission to change lives and build brighter futures for our seriously injured heroes. We’ve had a single-minded mission—to empower our brave men and women to regain what they fought for: their freedom and independence.

  • GO UNLIMITED

GO Unlimited is dedicated to improving the lives of people living with disabilities by creating access to adaptive sporting and outdoor adventure opportunities.

Founded out of necessity in 2005, Groups of people with and without disabilities came together to create adaptive fishing trips across New Mexico’s Land of Enchantment.

Focused on creating a list of what we could do, soon we were doing rafting, water-skiing, camping, horseback riding, trail riding, archery, wheelchair basketball, mountain expeditions and hand-cycling along with perfecting our fishing trips.
