Aaron Baker’s Mission: Giving Time, Love, and Resources on His Journey

The journey of Aaron Baker, athlete, author, speaker, and founder of the Adversity into Adventure Foundation, is endless in touching people's lives. From his continued tours and advocacy work, Aaron has devoted himself to not only promoting awareness for spinal cord injuries but also changing lives for others struggling through adversities of their own.

A Mission of Connection and Compassion

Aaron responds very responsibly and empathetically when asked what he intends to gain and offer from the relationships he establishes while on tour. “First and foremost, I give my time and love,” Aaron shares. I’ve learned that those are the two most important aspects of being alive. Just being with someone who is facing their own adversity, sitting with them, and empathizing with them to the best of my ability—that's my time and my love.”

Aaron’s mission has been more than simply raising awareness; it has been connecting with people and organizations. “I want to be able to create impact on a broader scale by empowering high-impact organizations and individuals,” he explained. “All the individuals that I come across—I really want to stimulate them, help them in some way.”

The Power of Giving

Beyond emotional support, Aaron is devoted to helping those in need with practical needs as well. “Money is an easy way to change a person's life,” Aaron stated. I’m the steward of great resources, and I’m really compelled and on fire to pay that forward.”

Aaron plans to use the money raised for his mission through his foundation to support those he meets along the way.

“The money that we raise is going to go to this mission and these people,” he emphasized. “So many parents, sponsors, and donors that I have the privilege of working with along the way are part of this journey.”
